"Take A Deep Blue Breathe Of Freedom" painting cre "Take A Deep Blue Breathe Of Freedom" painting created for @pangeaseed foundation as part of the "Tidal Shifts" program of the UN ocean conference in Nice France.
I was honoured to team up once again with my friends of PangeaSeed to paint the artwork as live painting activity in @neo_vogelart_lab gallery Nice.
This painting is an example of how we can use Art to speak about ocean preservation.
The theme of this painting is the Mediterranean sea. The duality of it. At first glance it's a peaceful place, it can be very calm, one horizontal line and gradients between the sea and the sky. That's the first impression.
Then when you look a bit closer ( and actually looking under the surface) you discover an ecosystem that is full of life, movement, colors that are coexisting together sometimes in a way that looks chaotic, but in fact is not.
In the middle of this underwater life, humans have been putting pressure on these ecosystems and, in no time, have broken the fragile balance instored thousands of years ago. But most part of us don't see this, it's hidden under the surface.
This painting is a tribute to the Mediterranean sea: The wonders and the threats that are pushing it to the limit.
Thanks a lot @oceanliteracy_unescoioc for giving a bit of space to culture in the conference, I wish we'll have more in the future as it's a strong link between science, NGOs and the general public.
Special thanks to the projects I shared the gallery With ( there are too much but I can name the main ones) : @oceanworldofsound, OAalliance , @musicforthesea_org, @peaceboatus, @blueplanetallianceorg, @oceanculturelife, @restorecoral, @theclothofficial

"Tidal Shifts" in Nice is finished ✅. @unoceande "Tidal Shifts" in Nice is finished ✅.
@unoceandecade ocean congress in 20 moments.

9 days of adventures, sharing great moments with inspiring people that want to act for ocean's protection.
9 days of live painting with friends @pangeaseed that I met finally after 5 years or so of collaboration together.
9 days of meeting online artist friends, and meeting new ocean lovers and actors. Many good souls that are acting to have a more sustainable and inclusive society.
9 days where I saw some of my long time friends that came to visit me during the event, or friends from the other side of the world that were in town for the conference 🫂.
I really enjoyed this moment and project.
Thanks you life for bringing me this opportunity.
I really look forward to having future new ones with the team at "Tidal Shifts".
