In March 2026, I had the opportunity to collaborate with two international NGOs PangeaSeed foundation and Save Our Seas foundation, that are working in the ocean conservation field and use art as a tool to speak about ocean preservation.
Through public art, the objective is to highlight and give visibility to the local marine biodiversity and ecosystems. Mural painting is a great way to connect with the public, locals or visitors and establish an emotional connection with them through art.
I’ve been invited to join the list of visual artists and muralists that would create and realize an ocean mural for the city of Victoria on Mahé island.
As part of the festival I realized 2 murals that are connected by the same topic:
Blue Economy
The first wall was realized at the international airport of Seychelles.
The second wall was painted for the Alliance Française des Seychelles that were key partners for my participation in the festival.
I’m presenting these murals below along with a Text/poem that gives some indications about the symbolism for the artwork interpretation.
