In the frame of the Biennale d’Art d’Aix-En-Provence (France) 2026,
I was invited to participate and propose a collective artistic intervention about the Mediterranean area, and “eco-feminism”.
I was invited by the French eco-social organization “Le Relais Des Possibles” to create a project that would involve the local community and create a collaborative piece of art that would join generations and the celebration of South of France local biodiversity and natural treasures.
I decided to create this collaborative giant canvas that we painted with various types of participants from all ages and backgrounds, and united in painting a common piece of art.
The workshop dynimic was very interesting and I was quite surprized by the unity that appeared from this project.
The inspiration for this artwork was:
Mediterranean treasures & “eco-feminism”
This canvas serves as a visual tribute and legacy that will stay with the local community. Showing how art can unite all sorts of people that wouldn’t connect normally in daily life. It’s also a celebration of the fragile and beautiful landscapes and biodiversity of the Provence area.
