Mural Alliance Française Des Seychelles

Mural paintings in Mahé Island / Seychelles

Mural Alliance Française des Seychelles - Ladislas full

In parallel of the Mahé Mural festival in Seychelles, I had the opportunity to create a second mural for the Alliance Française Des Seychelles that  sponsored my participation in the festival. They commissioned this mural to decorate their Mahé office.

Same as in the Festival mural done at the Seychelles International Airport, this second mural is linked to the first one and complements this “Blue Economy” theme. In this specific mural I displayed various fields where blue economy is implemented: Transport, food, and renewable energy. I also wanted to highlight the interconnection with marine ecosystems and local people.

Mural painting is a great way to connect with the public, locals or visitors and establish an emotional connection with them through art.

Jardin’Océan

Stop for a moment and take some time to listen to the distant song of the remote islands… Like seeds, the ocean made them bloom in distant corners of Seychelles.

Rising from the depth, little green spots in the blue immensity. You don’t see them often; they remain secret paradises, and it’s better like that.

Shelters for many, wings, feet, or fins, their discrete presence is in reality creating a bond between many and brings harmony and balance.

Take care of them like you would take care of a garden, because if you do so, you’ll get rewarded with treasures that will be brought by the waves on the shores of the main islands.

Listen carefully to the distant song of the remote islands so you can notice how they bloom and spread their life seeds all across the country.
